Peace in the Storm
When the whirlwind passes by, the wicked is no more, but the righteous has an everlasting foundation. Proverbs 10:25
Have you ever been in a really bad storm? Maybe there was thunder so loud it shook your whole house or wind that made the trees bend almost to the ground. Storms can be pretty scary! But have you ever noticed that when you’re safe inside your house, the storm doesn’t seem quite as frightening? You can watch it through the window, but you know you’re protected.
God’s Word is like being safe in a house during a storm! There are lots of scary things happening in our world. You might see stuff on the news or hear grown-ups talking about problems that sound really big and overwhelming. But when we open our Bibles, it’s like stepping into a quiet room where we can be still and remember that God is in control.
The verse for today says that when whirlwinds (that means big storms or troubles) come, people who trust in God have an “everlasting foundation.” That means we have something solid to stand on that can never be knocked down! It’s like building a house on a huge rock instead of on sand. When the storms come, the house on the rock stays standing!
So when life feels stormy and scary, don’t forget where to go. Open your Bible, read God’s promises, pray, and remember that He’s got you safe in His hands. He’s bigger than any storm!
Think About It: Picture yourself in the middle of a huge storm, but you’re inside a strong, safe house with God. That’s what trusting God is like! The next time you feel scared or worried about something, find a quiet spot, read a Bible verse (try Psalm 46), and tell God how you’re feeling.

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
