IWBWY

But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” Exodus 3:11

Imagine your teacher asks you to stand up in front of the whole school and give a speech. Or imagine your coach asks you to try a really hard skill you’ve never done before. You might feel nervous and think, “I can’t do that! That’s too hard!”That’s exactly how Moses felt! God told Moses to go to Egypt and tell Pharaoh to let all the Israelite slaves go free....

Imagine your teacher asks you to stand up in front of the whole school and give a speech. Or imagine your coach asks you to try a really hard skill you’ve never done before. You might feel nervous and think, “I can’t do that! That’s too hard!”

That’s exactly how Moses felt! God told Moses to go to Egypt and tell Pharaoh to let all the Israelite slaves go free. Moses was like, “Who, ME? I can’t do that! I’m not good enough!” But God said something super important: “I will certainly be with you.”

The same thing happened with a man named Gideon. God asked him to save Israel from their enemies, and Gideon said, “How can I save Israel? I’m the weakest person in my whole family!” And God’s answer was the same: “Surely I will be with you.”

Do you see the pattern? God doesn’t just ask us to do hard things and then leave us alone to figure it out! He says, “I’ll be with you!” When God asks you to do something difficult—like being kind to someone who’s mean to you, or forgiving your brother or sister, or standing up for what’s right—He promises to help you do it!

Take Action: Think of something God is asking you to do that seems hard. Look again at God’s promise to you: “I will be with you.” Now take the first letter of each word in God’s promise—IWBWY. Think of a way you can take this promise with you. Maybe write it on paper for your pocket, make a bracelet that spells IWBWY, or write it small on your hand. Let it remind you—God is with you! He’ll help you!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?

I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
