He Came for Everyone
The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor. Luke 4:18
Have you ever noticed that lots of stories are about rich, famous people? We read books about princes and princesses, kings and queens, or famous athletes and movie stars. But Jesus’ story is different!
When Jesus was born, He wasn’t born in a fancy palace with servants and gold decorations. He was born in a stable—a barn where animals were kept! His very first bed was a manger, which is a feeding box for animals. Instead of royal visitors in fancy clothes, His first guests were shepherds who probably smelled like sheep!
Jesus didn’t grow up in a rich family. He grew up in a regular home with a carpenter dad who worked hard. He didn’t hang out with famous people. He spent most of His time with fishermen, tax collectors, and people who needed help.
Why did Jesus choose to come this way? Because He wanted everyone to know that He came for them! Jesus didn’t come just for rich people or famous people. He came for poor people, sad people, sick people, lonely people—He came for ALL people! He wanted to show us that God loves everyone, no matter who they are.
Think About It: Jesus chose to be born in a humble place so that ALL people would know He came for them. Think about your school or neighborhood. Is there someone who seems left out or lonely? Someone who might not feel important? Jesus came for them too! How can you show God’s love to someone this week? Maybe by being friendly to someone who seems lonely, including someone in your game who usually gets left out, or standing up for someone who’s being picked on. When you do that, you’re acting like Jesus!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
