God Sees the Good You Do
So I reflected on all this, attempting to clear it all up. I concluded that the righteous and the wise, as well as their works, are in the hand of God; whether a person will be loved or hated—no one knows what lies ahead. Ecclesiastes 9:1, NET
Have you ever done something really kind for someone and nobody noticed? Maybe you cleaned up a mess that wasn’t yours, helped someone when no one was looking, or were patient with your little brother when no one saw. It can feel kind of disappointing when you do something good and nobody says, “Thank you,” right?
Here’s something super important to remember: Even when people don’t notice the good things you do, God always sees! He sees every kind word, every helpful action, and every time you choose to do the right thing even when it’s hard. And He’s keeping track!
Jesus told a story about how one day He will separate people like a shepherd separates sheep from goats. The “sheep” are people who loved Jesus and showed it by helping others. He’ll say things like, “You gave Me food when I was hungry. You gave Me clothes when I needed them. You visited Me when I was sick.” And the people will say, “When did we do that?” And Jesus will say, “When you did it for others, you did it for Me!”
That means every time you help someone, it’s like you’re helping Jesus Himself! And He notices every single time!
Think About It: This week try doing kind things even when no one’s watching! Maybe put away the dishes without being asked. Help a younger sibling with their homework. Pick up trash at the park. Clean something without anyone knowing it was you. Do these things as gifts to Jesus, knowing that He sees everything you do. At the end of the week think about how it felt to do good things without getting credit. Did it make you feel different inside? Remember, God sees it all, and one day He’ll reward you for every good thing you did!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
