Have you ever been nervous about crossing a wobbly bridge? Maybe at a playground or on a hiking trail? You look at it and think, Will this hold me? Is it safe?

That’s actually how some people think about faith! They think faith means closing your eyes and hoping something works even when it looks shaky. But that’s not what real faith is at all! Faith is actually more like walking across a super strong bridge. You trust it because you can see it’s sturdy, well-built, and lots of people have crossed it safely. Faith isn’t about ignoring what you know—it’s about believing BECAUSE of what you know!

When it comes to Jesus, the more you learn about Him from the Bible, the stronger your faith becomes. It’s like checking out that bridge and seeing it has thick ropes, solid planks, and is anchored firmly on both sides. The more you read God’s Word, the more you’ll see that Jesus is totally trustworthy!

That’s why reading your Bible is so important. Every time you read it, you’re learning more about how awesome and reliable Jesus is. Your faith grows stronger and stronger, just like a bridge becomes more trustworthy the more you learn about how well it’s built!

Take Action: This week read one Bible story about Jesus every day (you can find them in the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John). After you read, write down one thing you learned about Jesus that makes you trust Him more. At the end of the week look at your list and thank Jesus for being so trustworthy!
