God's Amazing Grace
Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come. Revelation 1:4
When you hear "Revelation," you might think of scary monsters and strange visions. And yes, there are some wild things in this book! But did you know that Revelation starts and ends with something amazing? GRACE!
At the very beginning, in Revelation 1:4, John writes, "Grace to you and peace from Him who is and who was and who is to come." And at the very end, in Revelation 22:21, it says, "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen." The whole book is wrapped up in God's grace like a beautiful present with a bow on top!
So what exactly is grace? It's getting good stuff you don't deserve! Like if you accidentally broke your mom's favorite vase, but instead of getting in trouble, she hugged you and gave you an ice cream cone. That's grace – getting good things when you deserve the opposite!
The entire message of Revelation is that God has a perfect plan to clean up all the messiness in our world and bring His children to an awesome forever home with Him. Our future is secure with God who was here in the past, who is here right now, and who is coming again in the future!
All the yucky stuff in the world – the fighting, the sickness, the sadness – none of it will last forever. Jesus will win against all His enemies and take His children to the incredible place He's made just for them.
Think About It: What does God's grace mean to you? Has anyone ever shown you grace when you messed up? How did that make you feel? Can you think of a way you could show grace to someone else this week, even if they don't deserve it?

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
