When it's election time, things get CRAZY! People spend TONS of money on ads. They have big rallies. Everyone gets super nervous waiting to see who will win. But did you know the Bible says something pretty mind-blowing about this whole process?

The Bible tells us that God is actually the one who decides who becomes a leader and who doesn't! Daniel 2:21 says God "removes kings and raises up kings" according to His perfect plan. That means even when elections seem super close or when surprise leaders get chosen, God is still in control of it all!

The Bible says that in the future, a world leader will rise with more power than anyone in history (Revelation 13:1-10). He'll be called the Antichrist and "the beast" (Revelation 13:2). For three-and-a-half years during a time called the Tribulation, he'll be incredibly mean and cruel. He'll get his power from "the great dragon", which is another name for Satan (Revelation 12:9).

But here's the super important thing to remember: Satan is like a dog on a leash—and God is holding the other end! Satan can never, ever do more than what God allows him to do. God sets the boundaries!

The awesome news is that Christians won't even be on earth during the Antichrist's rule. Before the Tribulation begins, all believers will be swooped up to heaven in what's called the Rapture. So if you've asked Jesus to be your Savior, your future is 100% safe!

Take Action: Let's pray for our leaders! Make a colorful list of leaders you know about – your President, your governor, your mayor, your principal, your pastor, your teachers. Put a star by each name and pray specifically for that person, asking God to help them make wise choices. Remember, God puts leaders in place for His own special purposes!
