Sing a Song of Thanks!
They sing the song of Moses, the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying: “Great and marvelous are Your works, Lord God Almighty! Just and true are Your ways, O King of the saints!” Revelation 15:3
Imagine being trapped as a slave in Egypt, and then suddenly, WHOOSH! God parts the Red Sea so you can escape! That's exactly what happened to the Israelites. After they crossed through on dry land and watched the water crash down on Pharaoh's army, Moses and his sister Miriam led everyone in an epic praise party! They sang what we now call "the song of Moses" (Exodus 15:1-18).
In his vision of heaven, John saw people who had been saved during the Tribulation standing beside a sea that looked "like glass mixed with fire" (Revelation 15:2). These people had gone through terrible times but had remained faithful to God. Now they were singing two songs: "the song of Moses" AND "the song of the Lamb," praising God for rescuing them!
Jewish people today still sing the song of Moses during special celebrations, remembering how God saved them from destruction in Egypt. Just like those Tribulation believers will sing praise to God for saving them through hard times, we should sing praises to God for saving us from sin!
When we worship, we're not just making nice music. We're telling God "THANK YOU" for all He's done for us! Next time you're singing to God at church, in the car, or in your room, really listen to the words. Are you thanking God for His amazing rescue mission? Are you praising Him for His goodness and power? That's what worship is all about!
Think About It: What's your all-time favorite worship song? Why do you like it so much? Does it help you remember how God has saved you? Share your favorite song with your family and tell them why it's special to you!

PARTNER WITH us

As a father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, the importance of family has always been a core value in my life. I have been a pastor for decades, watching families grow and generation after generation come up in faith. That is why Bible Strong Kids is so important to me. What better legacy to leave for our children and grandchildren than to raise them up in faith, strengthening them for the journey ahead all the way into adulthood?
I hope you will join us in this endeavor to create the next generation of Bible Strong Kids—children who know their worth in God’s eyes and are equipped to shine His light in an increasingly dark world.
