The Bible says that earth isn’t our forever home! We’re just visiting here for a little while. Our REAL home—the one that will last forever—is heaven! It’s the place we’re heading to, and we should be excited about it!

So, here’s a fun question: What do YOU want to do when you get to heaven? Think about it for a minute!

Maybe you want to run up to Jesus and give Him the biggest hug ever and thank Him for saving you! Or meet some of your favorite people from the Bible—like David who fought Goliath, or Esther who was super brave, or Mary who got to be Jesus’s mom! Maybe explore the New Jerusalem with its streets of gold and gates made of giant pearls! Or see what animals are like in heaven—maybe ride a lion or play with a bear (since nothing will be dangerous anymore)! What questions would you ask God?

The cool thing is, you’ll have FOREVER to do all these things and MORE! You’ll never run out of time. You’ll never get bored. And everything will be perfect and amazing!

When we think about heaven and get excited about it, it helps us remember that the hard stuff on earth is only temporary. All the not-so-great stuff is going to end, and then the BEST part begins—living with Jesus forever in the most incredible place ever created!

Take Action: Get out a piece of paper and make your “Heaven To-Do List”! Write down or draw at least 5 things you want to do when you get to heaven. Who do you want to meet? What do you want to see? What do you want to ask God? Put your list somewhere you’ll see it often—maybe on your bedroom wall or in your Bible. When you’re having a tough day, look at your list and remember that something WAY better is coming!
