In this first volume we will see the opening scene where God makes a deal with the devil that changes the course of Job’s Life. We will see the tragedies that befall him and the tears that flow as he bemoans the state of his life. We will consider Job’s wife and her motivation as she verbally berates him and watch as his “comforting” friends attack him. Ultimately as the narrative of Job is concluded in the second volume of Tried, Tested, and Triumphant, we will see God in all His glory put everything into perspective for Job, eventually restoring His faithful servant to a blessed and full life.
